OLG values, fosters and reflects Diversity and Inclusion as essential elements of our culture, a culture where employees have the space to be themselves and use their perspectives and skills to benefit the people and the Province of Ontario. Through our Diversity and Inclusion strategy, we have introduced two Employee Resource Groups (ERG) – a Women’s Network and PRIDE Network with outstanding results. As part of Healthy Workplace Month, we are introducing a Mental Wellness ERG. An enterprise-wide focus on mental wellness is an identified priority of Stephen Rigby, our President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Rigby has expressed his commitment to enabling the implementation of supports and tools to address stigma, increase awareness and show compassion and understanding for each other. One of the first projects that we will undertake is to launch mental health first aid training to broaden our employees’ access to in-house, peer-to-peer resources, in addition to our Employee Assistance Program.
