As part of our Re:Action initiatives we’re launching a new phase of Digital Dish to crowdsource ideas on three issues facing our region related to COVID-19:
This is your chance to tell CivicAction how we can work collectively to build a stronger region in the weeks and months to come. We want to hear it all, from examples of initiatives that are already working in our communities to brand new ideas for action.
To host your own Digital Dish, sign up using the form on this page. After registering, you can download our toolkit to help you set-up your online chat. The toolkit includes guiding questions for your conversation, digital platforms to use, and concrete examples of how you can continue to support your community.
Once you’re done your “dish,” share ideas and key takeaways from your conversation by reporting back to CivicAction. They will help inform our work on COVID-19 recovery moving forward.
Help us #BuildBackBetterGTHA.
The toolkit will show you:
You’re in charge of your event – start by deciding who to invite, which topic you want to discuss, and the platform you’ll use to connect.
You’re not in it alone! The toolkit and the CivicAction team is here to help. Feel free to reach out to us at email@example.com.
As a part of the Emerging Leader Network’s #ELNonline, CivicAction connected rising leaders to important decisions in our region through Digital Dish Town Hall’s with both Toronto’s Mayor John Tory and Mississauga’s Mayor Bonnie Crombie. Watch the recordings below.
