Toronto Region Research Alliance

Responding to the 2003 Summit‘s aspiration that the Toronto region become a world-leading centre for research and research-intensive industry, and the need for a regional collaborative approach to economic development, the Alliance created the Toronto Region Research Alliance (TRRA). TRRA’s dynamic, neutral leadership from business, academic institutions and all levels of government develops regional agreement on strategic priorities and leads regional coordinated actions to promote investment in research and innovation to further our economic prosperity.

Serving the Golden Horseshoe, TRRA was incorporated as a non-profit organization in October 2005 and  is supported and guided by a Board and Innovation Leaders Council comprising senior stakeholders.
