Providing Employees with Tools to make #MindsMatter
RBC believes in providing a physically and psychologically healthy workplace to help employees thrive, both professionally and personally. Last year the bank launched the RBC Blueprint for Mental Health and Well-Being which outlines RBC’s vision, objectives and priorities for protecting employees’ psychological health and safety in the workplace and ending the stigma of mental health issues within their corporate culture. Tools and resources available for RBCers include $3,000 in annual psychology benefits, a mental health navigation service, up to $300 annually in wellness credits for participating in wellness campaigns, learning materials, programs and peer support. In addition, more than 400 global wellness champions play an important role in motivating and encouraging employees to get involved in wellness initiatives.
An estimated 1 in 2 people in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area’s labour force have experienced a mental health issue. Ignite mental health support in your workplace by taking the MindsMatter Assessment today.
